This is not a dog social gathering (no dog interactions), but rather a structured training walk to allow dogs to learn from others and work in a high dog distracting environment.

Classes are held at local parks and may include field trips to pet-friendly businesses, giving dogs the opportunity to practice their skills where they matter most.

AKC S.T.A.R PUPPY

Get your puppy ready to take the S.T.A.R puppy evaluation with our AKC Approved CGC evaluator. Cost of class includes 6 classes and 1 AKC S.T.A.R puppy evaluation.

*There is an additional fee to be paid to the AKC to obtain the S.T.A.R. Puppy certificate and title.

Prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test through structured training focused on real-world manners, obedience, and handler communication. This class helps dogs develop the skills needed to become calm, confident, and well-mannered companions in public and at home.

Training focuses on the 10 CGC test items, including polite greetings, loose leash walking, supervised separation, and calm behavior around distractions.

Includes one official CGC evaluation at the end of the course.
